Every transaction created in AgWorks Software is preserved for reference. This is a great tool that allows users to go back and audit the processes that brought them to the current inventory position or customer relationship. Because of the amount of data preserved the daily operations can begin to slow down over time. Removing some of that information from the database can reduce the time to recalculate inventory and time spent searching documents. We recommend that your company select a logical time (end of fiscal year or end of crop season) and allow us to create an archive database as of that point in time. All activity must be concluded (request our archiving process guide to best determine your status) in order to obtain a clean cutoff. The information archived will be available to view but will not be available in normal operations.
